Demetrius Hartsfield added his name to the list of injured Terps on the season, as today it was announced that the middle linebacker tore his ACL in the 33-13 loss to Georgia Tech.

Hartsfield, a senior, suffered the injury with 2:20 left in the second quarter of the game. He is the Terps' top tackler, with 78 stops, seven tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, a pick and two fumble recoveries.
He is ranked 15th all-time in Maryland history with 338 tackles. That ranks 10th among active players.
The Terps now have three QBs and a middle linebacker out for the year with torn ACLs.
